अश्वशिरो-आख्यानम्

त॑ वेदाश्षाश्रमाश्षैव नानामतसमास्थिता: । भक्‍त्या सम्पूजयन्त्याशु गतिं चैषां ददाति सः,चारों वेद, चारों आश्रम तथा नाना प्रकारके मतोंका आश्रय लेनेवाले लोग भक्तिपूर्वक उसकी पूजा करते हैं और वह इन सबको शीघ्र ही उत्तम गति प्रदान करता है

taṁ vedāś cāśramāś caiva nānāmata-samāsthitāḥ | bhaktyā sampūjayanty āśu gatiṁ caiṣāṁ dadāti saḥ ||

Nārada sprach: Wer sich an die vier Veden, die vier Lebensstände (āśrama) und selbst an die vielen unterschiedlichen Lehrmeinungen hält, verehrt Ihn in Hingabe; und Er gewährt ihnen allen sogleich den höchsten Weg—ein glückverheißendes Geschick.
