भीष्म उवाच
The verse teaches that sincere inner reflection (sañcintya manasā) combined with devotion (bhaktyā) to Nārāyaṇa leads to swift spiritual efficacy—divine presence or guidance becomes immediate when the mind is aligned with reverence and purpose.
After mentally considering the matter, the figure being described—under the impulse of devotion to Nārāyaṇa—suddenly appears near “the two deities,” indicating a decisive, grace-filled arrival at the crucial scene.
