एतस्माद् योनिसम्बन्धाद् यो जीवन परिमुच्यते । प्रजां च लभते काज्चित् पुनर्दधन्द्ेषु सज्जति
nārada uvāca | etasmād yonisambandhād yo jīvan parimucyate | prajāṃ ca labhate kāñcit punar dadhandeṣu sajjati ||
Nārada sprach: „Aus dieser Bindung von Geburt und Geschlecht: Wer sich schon im Leben davon löst, erlangt eine gewisse Nachkommenschaft (oder eine bestimmte Sphäre von Wesen); doch wiederum heftet er sich unter jene, die erneut in einen Leib eingesetzt werden.“
नारद उवाच
Even if one gains release while living, the subtle tendency toward attachment can reassert itself; freedom requires not only breaking the external bond of birth/lineage but also uprooting renewed clinging that leads back into embodied existence.
Narada is explaining a doctrine about bondage and release: liberation from the nexus of birth is described, along with a warning that one may still become re-entangled through renewed attachment among beings entering embodiment.
