Agni–Soma Origin and the Brahmāgnīṣomīya Doctrine
अनपत्यो5भवत् प्राणो दुर्धर्ष: शत्रुतापन: । पृथक् कर्माणि तेषां ते प्रवक्ष्यामि यथातथम्
anapatyo 'bhavat prāṇo durdharṣaḥ śatrutāpanaḥ | pṛthak karmāṇi teṣāṃ te pravakṣyāmi yathātatham ||
Bhishma sprach: „Prāṇa hatte keine Nachkommen; er war unbezwingbar und ein Peiniger der Feinde. Ihre Wirkungen sind voneinander verschieden — ich werde sie dir genau so darlegen, wie sie sind.“
