एतन्मनो<नुकूलं मे भवानहीतति भाषितुम्‌ | सर्वज्ञ: सर्वदर्शी च सर्वत्र च कुतूहली,नारदजीकी बात सुनकर श्रीकृष्णद्वैपायन व्यासने कहा--“वेदविद्याके विद्वान्‌ सहर्षे! आपने जो कुछ कहा है, यह मेरे मनके अनुकूल ही है। आप ही ऐसी बात कह सकते हैं। आप सर्वज्ञ, सर्वदर्शी और सर्वत्रकी बातें जाननेके लिये उत्कण्ठित रहनेवाले हैं

etan mano'nukūlaṃ me bhavān āhītati bhāṣitum | sarvajñaḥ sarvadarśī ca sarvatra ca kutūhalī |

Bhīṣma sprach: „Was du gesagt hast, ist meinem Herzen ganz und gar genehm. Wahrlich, du bist es, der so zu sprechen vermag—allwissend, allsehend und überall von Wissbegier erfüllt, die Dinge zu ergründen.“
