Adhyāya 325: Nārada in Śvetadvīpa—Stotra to the Nirguṇa Mahātman
स विदेहानतिक्रम्य समृद्धजनसेवितान् । मिथिलोपवनं रम्यमाससाद समृद्धिमत्,इस प्रकार समृद्धिशाली मनुष्योंद्वारा सेवित विदेह-देशको लाँधकर वे मिथिलाके समृद्धिसम्पन्न रमणीय उपवनके पास जा पहुँचे
sa videhān atikramya samṛddha-janasevitān | mithilopavanaṁ ramyam āsasāda samṛddhimat ||
Bhishma sprach: „Nachdem er das Land Videha hinter sich gelassen hatte — wohlhabend und von gedeihenden Menschen umsorgt — gelangte er zum lieblichen, blühenden Hain von Mithila.“
भीष्म उवाच
Prosperity and social acclaim are acknowledged but not treated as the final goal; the movement toward Mithila’s grove suggests a transition into a space of instruction and discernment, where dharma is sought beyond mere worldly success.
