ततो<नुचिन्तयमहं भूयो देवीं सरस्वतीम् । मनसा स च मे प्रश्नो दध्नो घृतमिवोद्धृतम्,तदनन्तर मैंने पुन: सरस्वतीदेवीका मन-ही-मन चिन्तन किया। फिर तो जैसे दहीसे घी निकल आता है, उसी प्रकार उन प्रश्नोंका उत्तर निकल आया
tato'nucintayamaham bhūyo devīṃ sarasvatīm | manasā sa ca me praśno dadhno ghṛtam ivoddhṛtam ||
Da sann ich in meinem Geist abermals über die Göttin Sarasvatī nach. Und sogleich, wie man geklärte Butter aus dem Quark gewinnt, stieg die Antwort auf meine Frage klar aus dem Innern empor — geboren aus Betrachtung und aus der Gnade heiliger Einsicht.

True understanding is not merely collected from outside; it is clarified through sustained contemplation and the refining power of wisdom (here invoked as Sarasvatī). As ghee is extracted from curd, insight is ‘drawn out’ from the mind when it is properly churned by reflection and guided by learning.
Yājñavalkya says that after again mentally invoking and contemplating Sarasvatī, the resolution of his inquiry emerged clearly. The verse uses a domestic, vivid metaphor—ghee arising from curd—to describe how an answer becomes manifest after inner churning and divine/intellectual inspiration.
