Saṃhāra-krama (The Sequence of Cosmic Dissolution) — Yājñavalkya’s Discourse
प्रवेश्यात्मनि चात्मानं योगी तिष्तति योडचल: । पापं हन्ति पुनीतानां पदमाप्रोति सोडजरम्,जो योगी समाधिके द्वारा आत्माको परमात्मामें स्थिर करके अचल हो जाता है, वह अपने पापको नष्ट कर देता है और पवित्र पुरुषोंको प्राप्त होनेवाले अविनाशी पदको पा लेता है
bhīṣma uvāca | praveśyātmani cātmānaṃ yogī tiṣṭhati yo 'calaḥ | pāpaṃ hanti punītānāṃ padam āpnoti so 'jaram ||
Bhishma sprach: „Der Yogi, der durch innere Versenkung das Selbst im Selbst gründet und unbeweglich wird, vernichtet seine Sünden und erlangt den unvergänglichen Zustand, den die Geläuterten erreichen.“
