तस्मै स विधिवत कृत्स्नं ब्रह्मास्त्रं सनिवर्तनम्‌ प्रोवाचाखिलमव्यग्रं तपस्वी तत्‌ तपस्विने,तदनन्तर तपस्वी परशुरामने तपस्यामें लगे हुए कर्णको शान्तभावसे प्रयोग और उपसंहार विधिसहित सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्मास्त्रकी विधिपूर्वक शिक्षा दी

tasmai sa vidhivat kṛtsnaṃ brahmāstraṃ sanivartanam | provācākhilam avyagraṃ tapasvī tat tapasvine ||

Darauf lehrte ihn der Asket nach der gebührenden rituellen Ordnung die ganze Brahmāstra samt der Weise, sie zurückzunehmen; er erklärte alles vollständig und ohne Zerstreuung, wie ein strenger Weiser einen anderen strengen Weisen unterweist.
