अध्याय २९४ — योगलक्षणम् तथा सांख्यपरिसंख्यानम्

Yoga Definition and Sāṃkhya Enumeration

तस्मिन्‌ हते&थ स्वं भावं प्रत्यपद्यन्त मानवा: । प्रापद्यन्त च वेदान्‌ वै शास्त्राणि च यथा पुरा

tasmin hate ’tha svaṁ bhāvaṁ pratyapadyanta mānavāḥ | prāpadyanta ca vedān vai śāstrāṇi ca yathā purā ||

Als er erschlagen war, kehrten die Menschen zu ihrer natürlichen Gesinnung zurück. Wieder suchten sie Zuflucht in den Veden und in den maßgeblichen Lehrschriften, wie einst—und stellten die alte sittliche und soziale Ordnung wieder her, die auf heiligem Wissen beruht.
