Adhyāya 283: Varṇa-vṛtti, Nyāya-ārjana, and the Decline-and-Restoration of Dharma (वर्णवृत्तिः न्यायार्जनं च)

इन्द्रेण सहिता: सर्वे आगता यज्ञभागिन: । आदित्य, वसु, रुद्र, साध्य और मरुदगण--ये सब-के-सब इन्द्रके साथ यज्ञमें भाग लेनेके लिये वहाँ पधारे थे

vaiśampāyana uvāca | indreṇa sahitāḥ sarve āgatā yajñabhāginaḥ | ādityā vasavaḥ rudrāḥ sādhyāḥ marudgaṇāś ca—te sarve indreṇa saha yajñe bhāga-grahaṇāya tatra samupāgatāḥ |

Vaiśampāyana sprach: Alle, die rechtmäßig Anteil an der Opfergabe hatten, kamen zusammen mit Indra. Die Ādityas, Vasus, Rudras, Sādhyas und die Scharen der Maruts—sie alle ohne Ausnahme—erschienen dort mit Indra, um im Opfer ihre zugewiesenen Anteile zu empfangen.
