Parāśara’s Counsel on बुद्धि (Discernment), Karma-Consequences, and Avoidance of Pāpānubandha Actions

एतत्‌ त्वां मामकं तेज: समाविशति वासव । व्यग्रमेनं त्वमप्येन॑ वज़ेण जहि दानवम्‌,वासव! लो, यह मेरा तेज तुम्हारे शरीरमें प्रवेश करता है। इस समय दानव वृत्र ज्वरके कारण बहुत व्यग्र हो रहा है; इसी अवस्थामें तुम वज़से इसे मार डालो

etat tvāṃ māmakam tejaḥ samāviśati vāsava | vyagram enaṃ tvam apy enaṃ vajreṇa jahi dānavam ||

Maheśvara sprach: „O Vāsava, meine Kraft tritt nun in dich ein. Der Dānava Vṛtra ist in diesem Augenblick von Fieber gepeinigt und in Unruhe; in eben diesem Zustand erschlage ihn mit deinem Vajra.“
