दम्पत्यो: प्राणसंश्लेषे योडभिसंधि: कृत: किल । त॑ माता च पिता चेति भूतार्थो मातरि स्थित:,“पति और पत्नी मैथुनकालमें सुयोग्य पुत्र होनेके लिये जो अभिलाषा करते हैं, उसे यद्यपि पिता और माता-दोनों धारण करते हैं तथापि वास्तवमें वह अभिलाषा मातामें ही प्रतिष्ठित होती है
Translation
In der Lebensvereinigung von Mann und Frau wird der Wunsch gefasst, einen würdigen Sohn zu zeugen; obgleich man sagt, er werde von „Vater“ und „Mutter“ gemeinsam getragen, ruht er seinem wahren Sinn nach vor allem in der Mutter.
