सूक्ष्मभूत-भूतात्मविज्ञानम्

Knowing the subtle principle and the bhūtātman through yoga

व्यास उवाच प्राप्प संस्कारमेताभ्यामाश्रमा भ्यां तत: परम्‌ । यत्कार्य परमार्थ तु तदिहैकमना: शूणु,व्यासजीने कहा--बेटा! ब्रह्मचर्य और गृहस्थाश्रमके धर्मोद्वारा चित्तका संस्कार (शोधन) करनेके अनन्तर मुक्तिके लिये जो वास्तविक कर्तव्य है, उसे बताता हूँ, तुम यहाँ एकाग्रचित्त होकर सुनो

vyāsa uvāca | prāpya saṃskāram etābhyām āśramābhyāṃ tataḥ param | yat kāryaṃ paramārthaṃ tu tad ihaikamanāḥ śṛṇu |

Vyāsa sprach: „Mein Sohn, nachdem du durch diese beiden Lebensstufen—brahmacarya (Schülerdisziplin) und gṛhastha (Pflicht des Hausvaters)—innere Läuterung erlangt hast, will ich dir nun die wahre Aufgabe darlegen, die zum höchsten Gut, zur Befreiung, führt. Höre hier mit einspitzigem Geist.“
