Karma–Vidyā Distinction: Paths of Bondage and Release
दिवि सूर्यस्तथा सप्त दहन्ति शिखिनोडर्चिष: । सर्वमेतत् तदार्चिरभिं: पूर्ण जाज्वल्यते जगत्
divi sūryas tathā sapta dahanti śikhino 'rciṣaḥ | sarvam etat tadārcirabhiḥ pūrṇaṁ jājvalyate jagat |
Vyāsa sprach: „Wenn die Zeit der Auflösung kommt, lodert die Sonne am Himmel, und von unten steigen sieben feurige Zungen empor; sie beginnen, die Welt zu verzehren. Dann erscheint das ganze Universum von Flammen erfüllt und umhüllt, leuchtend in einem schrecklichen, allgegenwärtigen Brand.“
