Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
मन: सृष्टिं विकुरुते चोद्यमानं सिसृक्षया । आकाशं जायते तस्मात् तस्य शब्दं गुणं विदु:,फिर सृष्टिकी इच्छासे प्रेरित होनेपर मन नाना प्रकारकी सृष्टि करता है। उससे आकाशकी उत्पत्ति होती है। आकाशका गुण “शब्द” माना गया है
manaḥ sṛṣṭiṁ vikurute codyamānaṁ sisṛkṣayā | ākāśaṁ jāyate tasmāt tasya śabdaṁ guṇaṁ viduḥ ||
Vyāsa sprach: Wenn der Geist vom Wunsch zu erschaffen angetrieben wird, gestaltet er den mannigfaltigen Vorgang der Schöpfung. Daraus entsteht ākāśa (Raum/Äther), und die Weisen wissen, dass seine kennzeichnende Eigenschaft der Klang ist.
