जाता परमधर्मिष्ठा दिव्यसंस्थान संस्थिता । ततो भूयस्तु पृच्छामि तद् भवान् वक्तुमरहति,मेरी बुद्धि परम धर्मिष्ठ एवं दिव्य स्थितिमें स्थित हो गयी थी; इसीलिये फिर पूछता हूँ। आप इस विषयका वर्णन करनेकी कृपा करें
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | jātā paramadharmiṣṭhā divyasaṃsthāna-saṃsthitā | tato bhūyas tu pṛcchāmi tad bhavān vaktum arhati ||
Yudhiṣṭhira sprach: „Mein Verständnis ist nun fest in der höchsten Dharma gegründet, in einen göttlichen und erhabenen Zustand versetzt. Darum frage ich erneut: Sei so gnädig und erläutere diese Sache weiter.“
युधिछिर उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical posture of a learner: even after attaining clarity and being grounded in the highest dharma, one continues to inquire respectfully for deeper understanding, recognizing the teacher’s authority and the subtlety of dharma.
In the instruction-filled setting of Śānti Parva, Yudhiṣṭhira addresses his teacher with humility, stating that his mind has become established in elevated dharma, yet he wishes to ask further questions and requests a fuller explanation.
