कृतश्रम: कृतप्रज्ञो न च तृप्त: समाधित: । नित्ययुक्तो5प्रमत्तश्न तस्मात्‌ सर्वत्र पूजित:,उन्होंने योगाभ्यासके लिये बड़ा परिश्वम किया है। उनकी बुद्धि पवित्र है। उन्हें समाधिसे कभी तृप्ति नहीं होती। वे कर्तव्य-पालनके लिये सदा उद्यत रहते हैं और कभी प्रमाद नहीं करते हैं; इसीलिये सर्वत्र पूजे जाते हैं

Transliteration

kṛtaśramaḥ kṛtaprajño na ca tṛptaḥ samādhitaḥ | nityayukto 'pramattaś ca tasmāt sarvatra pūjitaḥ ||

Translation

Er hat große Anstrengung in der Übung des Yoga unternommen und vollendet; sein Verständnis ist geläutert und gefestigt. Selbst wenn er im Samādhi gegründet ist, wird er dessen nie „satt“, sodass er in Selbstzufriedenheit verfiele. Stets diszipliniert, unablässig der Pflicht zugewandt und frei von Nachlässigkeit; darum wird er überall geehrt.
