Transliteration

śakra uvāca | yatrādadaḥ sahasrāṇi ayutānāṃ gavāṃ daśa | anantaraṃ sahasreṇa tadā āsīd daitya kā matiḥ ||

Translation

Śakra sprach: „Als du immer wieder Tausende von Gaben verschenktest—jede Gabe bestand aus zehn Ayutas an Kühen—und dann abermals in aufeinanderfolgenden Tausenden, o Daitya, wie war damals der Zustand deines Geistes?
