Svapna–Manas–Guṇa–Brahma-vicāra

ततस्ते मधुपर्केण पूजां चक्कुरथो मयि । प्रतिगृह्म च तां पूजां प्रत्यनन्दमृषीनहम्‌,मेरे जानेपर उन महर्षियोंने मधुपर्क समर्पित करके मेरा आतिथ्य-सत्कार किया। मैंने भी उनका सत्कार ग्रहण करके उन सभी महर्षियोंका अभिनन्दन किया

tataste madhuparkeṇa pūjāṃ cakkuratho mayi | pratigṛhya ca tāṃ pūjāṃ pratyānandam ṛṣīn aham ||

Bhishma sprach: „Da ehrten mich jene Weisen mit der Darbringung des Madhuparka und vollzogen die Willkommensriten für mich. Als ich diese Gastfreundschaft annahm, grüßte ich meinerseits alle jene Rishis und erfreute sie.“
