ते च सर्वे महात्मानो धर्म सत्कृत्य तत्र वै । पृष्ठतो5नुययू राजन्‌ सर्वे सुप्रीतचेतस:,राजन! फिर वे सभी महात्मा धर्मको सत्कार-पूर्वक आगे करके प्रसन्नचित्त हो पीछे- पीछे चल दिये

te ca sarve mahātmāno dharmaṃ satkṛtya tatra vai | pṛṣṭhato 'nuyayuḥ rājan sarve suprītacetasaḥ ||

Bhīṣma sprach: „Und all jene großgesinnten Männer ehrten dort den Dharma gebührend, stellten ihn an die Spitze und folgten—o König—hinten nach, mit Herzen voller Freude.“
