तत्र यत्‌ सत्यं स धर्मो यो धर्म: स प्रकाशो यः प्रकाशस्तत्‌ सुखमिति । तत्र यदनृतं सो<धर्मो यो5धर्मस्तत्‌ तमो यत्‌ तमस्तद्‌ दुःखमिति,वहाँ जो सत्य है, वही धर्म है, जो धर्म है वही प्रकाश है और जो प्रकाश है, वही सुख है। इसी प्रकार वहाँ जो अनृत अर्थात्‌ असत्य है, वही अधर्म है और जो अधर्म है, वही अन्धकार है और जो अन्धकार है, वही दुःख है

tatra yat satyaṃ sa dharmo yo dharmaḥ sa prakāśo yaḥ prakāśas tat sukham iti | tatra yad anṛtaṃ so 'dharmaḥ yo 'dharmaḥ tat tamo yat tamas tad duḥkham iti |

Bharadvāja sprach: „In jenem Bereich gilt: Was Wahrheit ist—das allein ist Dharma. Was Dharma ist—das ist Licht. Und was Licht ist—das ist Glück. Ebenso: Was Unwahrheit ist—das ist Adharma. Was Adharma ist—das ist Finsternis. Und was Finsternis ist—das ist Leiden.“
