Śānti-parva 168: Śoka-nivṛtti-buddhi (The Cognition that Reduces Grief) and Piṅgalā’s Nairāśya

प्राज्ञ: सुहृच्चन्दनसारलिप्तो विचित्रमाल्याभरणैरुपेत: । ततो वच: संग्रहविस्तरेण प्रोक्त्वाथ वीरान्‌ विरराम भीम:,बुद्धिमान, सुहृद, चन्दनसारसे चर्चित तथा विचित्र मालाओं और आभूषणोंसे विभूषित भीमसेन उन वीर बन्धुओंसे संक्षेप और विस्तारपूर्वक पूर्वोिक्त वचन कहकर चुप हो गये

prājñaḥ suhṛcchandanasāralipto vicitramālyābharaṇair upetaḥ | tato vacaḥ saṃgrahavistareṇa proktvātha vīrān virarāma bhīmaḥ ||

“Daraufhin wandte sich der weise Bhīma—ein herzlich gesinnter Freund, mit dem Wesen des Sandelholzes gesalbt und mit bunten Girlanden und Schmuck geziert—an jene heldenhaften Verwandten; bald sprach er knapp, bald ausführlich, wie es der Anlass verlangte. Nachdem er seine Worte dargelegt hatte, schwieg er.”
