Transliteration

bibhrat kṛṣṇājinaṃ vāso hemapravaratārakam | netraṃ caikaṃ lalāṭena bhāskarapratimaṃ vahan |

Translation

Bhīṣma sprach: „Er trug ein Gewand aus schwarzer Antilopenhaut, geschmückt mit vortrefflichen goldenen, sternengleichen Zieraten; und auf seiner Stirn trug er ein einziges Auge, strahlend wie die Sonne.“
