On Gratitude and Friendship Ethics
तस्मिन् गिरिवरे पुत्र पुष्पितद्रुमकानने । तस्थौ स विबुधश्रेष्ठो ब्रह्मा लोकार्थसिद्धये,बेटा नकुल! जहाँके वृक्ष और वन फूलोंसे भरे हुए थे, उस श्रेष्ठ पर्वतशिखरपर सुरश्रेष्ठ ब्रह्माजी सम्पूर्ण जगत्का कार्य सिद्ध करनेके लिये ठहर गये
tasmin girivare putra puṣpitadrumakānane | tasthau sa vibudhaśreṣṭho brahmā lokārthasiddhaye ||
O Sohn, auf jenem vortrefflichen Berg — dessen Haine von blühenden Bäumen erfüllt waren — nahm Brahmā, der Vornehmste unter den Göttern, dort seinen Stand ein, um zu vollbringen, was zum Wohl und zur Ordnung der Welten erforderlich war.
