अबुद्धिपूर्वकपापविमोचनप्रश्नः — Janamejaya’s Unintended Transgression and the Indrota Rebuke

स त्वं संतानवानद्य पुत्रवानसि च द्विज

sa tvaṃ saṃtānavān adya putravān asi ca dvija

Bhīṣma sprach: „Nun bist du mit Geschlecht und Fortbestand gesegnet; du bist auch Vater geworden, o dvija. Dies kennzeichnet die Erfüllung der Hauspflicht und die Sicherung der eigenen Linie — eine wesentliche Stütze von Dharma und sozialer Ordnung.“
