कपोत-लुब्धकसंवादः — Hunter’s Remorse and Renunciatory Resolve

कुलीनान्‌ सचिवान्‌ कृत्वा वेदविद्यासमन्वितान्‌ | प्रशाधि पृथिवीं राजन्‌ प्रजा धर्मेण पालयन्‌,राजन! उत्तम कुलमें उत्पन्न तथा वेदविद्यासे सम्पन्न पुरुषोंको मन्त्री बनाकर प्रजाका धर्मपूर्वक पालन करते हुए तुम इस पृथ्वीका शासन करो

kulīnān sacivān kṛtvā vedavidyāsamanvitān | praśādhi pṛthivīṃ rājan prajā dharmeṇa pālayan ||

Bhīṣma sprach: „O König, setze Männer von edler Herkunft, die zugleich in vedischer Lehre bewandert sind, zu Ministern ein. Dann regiere diese Erde und schütze deine Untertanen gemäß dem Dharma.“
