Āśā-prabhava (आशाप्रभव) — On the Rise and Power of Hope/Expectation

दत्ते वरे गते विप्रे चिन्ता55सीन्महती तदा । प्रह्ादस्य महाराज निश्चयं न च जग्मिवान्‌

datte vare gate vipre cintāsīn mahatī tadā | prahrādasya mahārāja niścayaṃ na ca jagmivān ||

Nachdem die Gabe gewährt war und der Brahmane fortgegangen war, o König, überkam Prahlāda große Sorge. Er sann darüber nach, was zu tun sei, doch gelangte er zu keinem festen Entschluss.
