लोकानां स हि सर्वेषां ससुरासुररक्षसाम्‌ । समनुष्योरगवतां कर्ता चैव स भूतकृत्‌

Transliteration

lokānāṃ sa hi sarveṣāṃ sasurāsurarakṣasām | samanuṣyoragavatāṃ kartā caiva sa bhūtakṛt ||

Translation

Bhishma sprach: Er ist wahrlich der Schöpfer aller Welten und aller Wesen—Götter, Asuras und Rākṣasas gleichermaßen; ebenso der Menschen und der Schlangen. Er ist die Quelle, aus der die Geschöpfe hervorgehen, der universale Schöpfer, der die Wesen ins Dasein ruft.
