अमोघो<यं भवत्वद्य त्वया सह समागम: । राजाने कहा--प्रभो! आप अवश्य उस नीतिका वर्णन करें। मैं आपकी शरणमें आया हूँ। आपके साथ जो समागम प्राप्त हुआ है, यह आज व्यर्थ न हो

amogho ’yaṁ bhavatv adya tvayā saha samāgamaḥ |

Bhishma sprach: „Möge diese heutige Begegnung mit dir nicht fruchtlos sein. Möge sie wahren Ertrag bringen durch die Lehre von rechter Lebensführung und Staatskunst, die du suchend in Zuflucht begehrst.“
