अथ चेदात्मभाग्येषु नान्येषां सिद्धिमश्रुते । तस्मात् कर्मव कर्तव्यं नास्ति सिद्धिरकर्मण:,यदि अपने भाग्यमें दूसरोंके कर्मोसे प्राप्त हुई सिद्धि नहीं आती, तब तो सभीको कर्म ही करना चाहिये। अकर्मण्य पुरुषको कभी कोई सिद्धि नहीं मिलती
atha ced ātmabhāgyeṣu nānyeṣāṁ siddhim aśrute | tasmāt karmaiva kartavyaṁ nāsti siddhir akarmaṇaḥ ||
Bhima sprach: „Wenn man innerhalb des einem selbst zugeteilten Geschicks nicht hört, dass Erfolg aus den Taten anderer erwächst, dann muss man wahrlich selbst handeln. Denn für den, der nicht handelt, gibt es niemals ein Erlangen.“
