गान्धारी-प्रशमनम् — Pacification of Gāndhārī and Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel at Hāstinapura

महारणगत: पार्थो यच्च नासीत्‌ पराड्मुख: । आपकी ही कृपासे संशप्तकगण परास्त हुए हैं और कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुनने उस महासमरमें जो कभी पीठ नहीं दिखायी है

mahāraṇagataḥ pārtho yac ca nāsīt parāṅmukhaḥ | tathāiva ca mahābāho paryair bahubhir mayā ||

Yudhiṣṭhira sprach: „Dass Pārtha in die große Schlacht trat und kein einziges Mal den Rücken kehrte — auch das ist die Frucht deiner Gnade. Durch deine Gunst wurde die Schar der Saṁśaptakas geschlagen; und Arjuna, Kuntīs Sohn, blieb in jenem weiten Kampf unbeirrbar standhaft. Ebenso, o Mächtigarmiger, bin auch ich durch viele Prüfungen hindurch von deiner Stütze getragen und geleitet worden.“
