Victory and political success are framed as arising from right counsel and alignment with Kṛṣṇa’s guidance; the verse also marks the moral closure of a long-standing feud by declaring the enmity’s ‘end’ with the fall of its chief agent.
After Duryodhana (Suyodhana) has been killed, Yudhiṣṭhira reflects that the central hostility has reached its conclusion and attributes the Pandavas’ conquest of the realm to their reliance on Kṛṣṇa’s counsel.
