dhanādhipatyaṃ sakhyaṃ ca rudreṇāmitatejasā | suratvaṃ lokapālatvaṃ putra ca nalakūbaram ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: Er erlangte die Herrschaft über den Reichtum und die Freundschaft Rudras von unermesslichem Glanz; ebenso erreichte er göttlichen Rang und das Amt eines Welthüters — und als Sohn erhielt er Nalakūbara.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
