अरुणाभा महाभोगा दीर्घकेश्य: सिताम्बरा: । ऊर्ध्ववेणीधराश्नैव पिड्ाक्ष्यो लम्बमेखला:
aruṇābhā mahābhogā dīrghakeśyaḥ sitāmbarāḥ | ūrdhvaveṇīdharāś caiva piṅgākṣyo lambamekhalāḥ ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: „Sie erschienen in rötlichem Schimmer, begabt mit großem Glanz und Gedeihen: langhaarig, in weiße Gewänder gekleidet, die Zöpfe hochgebunden. Ihre fahlgelben Augen und die langen Gürtel zeichneten sie als außergewöhnliche Wesen aus, von unheilvoller, jenseitiger Gegenwart.“
