Educational Q&A

The verse underscores purposeful movement toward a tīrtha: even amid a war-saturated world symbolized by “blood-flowing,” the tradition frames certain places and actions as morally and ritually significant, directing conduct through dharmic orientation and remembrance of prior instruction.

The narrator reports that the group proceeds from their current location to a previously mentioned pilgrimage ford characterized as ‘blood-flowing,’ marking a transition to the next sacred site in the sequence.
