अथाब्रवीदृषिर्देवान् पश्यध्वं मा दिवौकस:
athābravīd ṛṣir devān paśyadhvaṃ mā divaukasaḥ
Da sprach der Weise zu den Göttern: „O ihr Bewohner des Himmels, schaut auf mich!“ Inmitten der moralischen Spannung, die der Krieg entfaltete, rief der Seher die göttlichen Zeugen an—und beschwor höhere Aufsicht und Rechenschaft, während die Ereignisse ihren vorherbestimmten Folgen entgegengingen.
