Adhyāya 33: Rauhiṇeya (Balarāma) is welcomed and takes his seat to witness the gadā-engagement
अद्य पारं गमिष्यामि वैरस्य भृशदुर्गमम् । यह सुनकर भीमसेन बोले--मधुसूदन! आप विषाद न करें। यदुनन्दन! मैं आज वैरकी उस अन्तिम सीमापर पहुँच जाऊँगा, जहाँ जाना दूसरोंके लिये अत्यन्त कठिन है
adya pāraṁ gamiṣyāmi vairasya bhṛśa-durgamam |
Als er dies hörte, sprach Bhīmasena: „Madhusūdana, verfalle nicht in Gram. Yadunandana, heute werde ich das jenseitige Ufer der Feindschaft erreichen, das überaus schwer zu gewinnen ist; ich gelange an die letzte Grenze, die anderen nahezu unerreichbar bleibt.“
