Resolve for the Mace Duel

स भिवत्त्वा स्तम्भितं तोयं स्कन्‍्धे कृत्वा5ड5यसीं गदाम्‌

sa bhivattvā stambhitaṃ toyaṃ skandhe kṛtvā ayasīṃ gadām

Sañjaya sprach: Nachdem er ehrerbietig gegrüßt hatte, fasste er sich, legte die eiserne Keule auf die Schulter und schritt mit gezügelter Entschlossenheit voran. Der Augenblick hebt die Disziplin des Kriegers hervor: selbst im Getümmel der Gewalt wird das Handeln von rituellem Respekt und Selbstbeherrschung gerahmt.
