द्वैपायनह्रदे दुर्योधनान्वेषणम् / The Search for Duryodhana at Dvaipāyana Lake

नातिदूरं ततो गत्वा पद्भ्यामेव नराधिप: । सस्मार वचन क्षत्तुर्धमशीलस्य धीमत:,अपने पैरोंसे ही थोड़ी ही दूर जानेके पश्चात्‌ राजा दुर्योधनको धर्मशील बुद्धिमान्‌ विदुरजीकी कही हुई बातें याद आने लगीं

nātidūraṃ tato gatvā padbhyām eva narādhipaḥ | sasmāra vacanaṃ kṣattuḥ dharmaśīlasya dhīmataḥ ||

Sañjaya sprach: Nachdem der König (Duryodhana) nur ein kurzes Stück zu Fuß gegangen war, begann er sich an die Worte Viduras zu erinnern—des weisen Kämmerers, standhaft im Dharma—Worte, die nun schwer auf seinem Geist lasteten.
