शल्यस्य पाण्डवसेनापीडनम् — Śalya’s Assault on the Pāṇḍava Host
with Omens and Bhīma’s Counter
सत्यसेनो रथेषां तु नकुलस्य धनुस्तथा
satyaseno ratheṣāṁ tu nakulasya dhanus tathā
Sañjaya sprach: „Und unter den Wagenlenkern war Satyasena; ebenso der Bogen, der Nakula gehörte.“ Die Zeile setzt die Aufzählung der Krieger und ihrer Kriegsmittel fort und betont, dass im Krieg persönliche Tapferkeit untrennbar mit den Werkzeugen und der Unterstützung verbunden ist, die die Pflichterfüllung auf dem Schlachtfeld ermöglichen.
