Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O König, so gingen jene löwengleichen Männer—alle Pāṇḍavas, breitarmig und tatkräftig—nachdem sie viele feierliche Gelübde abgelegt hatten, zu König Dhṛtarāṣṭra.“
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the moral weight of pratijñā (solemn vows): righteous agents bind themselves by promises and then act accordingly, approaching authority not merely with power but with accountable resolve.
After making multiple vows, the strong-armed Pāṇḍavas proceed to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra, indicating a formal approach to the Kuru court and the next step in the unfolding political-ethical conflict.
