पुनर्दीव्याम भद्रं ते वनवासाय पाण्डवै: । एवमेतान् वशे कर्तु शक्ष्याम: पुरुषर्षभ,पुरुषश्रेष्ठू आपका भला हो, हम चाहते हैं कि वनवासकी शर्त रखकर पाण्डवोंके साथ फिर एक बार जूआ खेलें। इस प्रकार इन्हें हम अपने वशमें कर सकेंगे
punar dīvyāma bhadraṁ te vanavāsāya pāṇḍavaiḥ | evam etān vaśe kartuṁ śakṣyāmaḥ puruṣarṣabha ||
Duryodhana sagte: „Lasst uns noch einmal spielen — möge es dir wohl ergehen — und für die Pāṇḍavas die Verbannung in den Wald als Einsatz festsetzen. So, o Stier unter den Männern, werden wir sie unter unsere Gewalt bringen.“
