Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate sabhāparvaṇi dyūtapārvaṇi dyūtārambhe ṣaṣṭitamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

So endet das sechzigste Kapitel des Sabhā Parva der Śrī Mahābhārata—innerhalb des Dyūta Parva, beim Beginn der Glücksspiel-Episode. Nun wendet sich die Erzählung feierlich dem ethisch heiklen Würfelspiel zu, das Königtum, Ehre und Dharma auf die Probe stellen wird.
