तां दृष्टवा पाण्डुपुत्रस्य श्रियं परमिकामहम्‌ । शान्तिं न परिगच्छामि दहा[मानेन चेतसा

Transliteration

tāṃ dṛṣṭvā pāṇḍuputrasya śriyaṃ paramikām aham | śāntiṃ na parigacchāmi dahyamānena cetasā ||

Translation

Als ich den höchsten Wohlstand und den königlichen Glanz des Sohnes Pāṇḍus erblicke, finde ich keinerlei Frieden; mein Geist brennt vor Neid und innerer Qual.
