दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya
एवं स निश्चयं कृत्वा ततो वचनमत्रवीत् । पुनर्गान््धारनृपतिं दहुमान इवाग्निना,ऐसा निश्चय करके दुर्योधन चिन्ताकी आगसे दग्ध-सा होता हुआ पुनः गान्धारराज शकुनिसे बोला
evaṁ sa niścayaṁ kṛtvā tato vacanam abravīt | punar gāndhāranṛpatiṁ dahumān ivāgninā ||
So fasste er seinen Entschluss und sprach. Brennend, als wäre er vom Feuer versengt—vom inneren Brand sorgenvollen Grübelns—wandte er sich erneut an den König von Gandhāra, Śakuni, und drängte mit seinem Vorhaben voran.
