मायासभायां दुर्योधनस्य अवमान-प्रसङ्गः
Duryodhana’s Humiliation in the Hall of Māyā
संश्रुत्योदाह्तं वाक््यं भूतमन्तर्हितं ततः । पुत्रस्नेहाभिसंतप्ता जननी वाक्यमब्रवीत्,तदनन्तर यह आकाशवाणी सुनकर उस अन्तहित भूतको लक्ष्य करके पुत्रस्नेहसे संतप्त हुई इसकी माता बोली--
saṁśrutya udāhṛtaṁ vākyaṁ bhūtam antarhitaṁ tataḥ | putrasnehābhisaṁtaptā jananī vākyam abravīt ||
Nachdem sie die gesprochenen Worte vernommen hatte, wandte sie sich an das unsichtbare Wesen, das sich dem Blick entzogen hatte. Von mütterlicher Liebe zu ihrem Sohn gequält, sprach die Mutter—Worte, geboren aus Schmerz, Anhänglichkeit und dem dringenden dharmischen Drang, das Kind zu schützen.
