Sabhā-praveśa, Dāna, and the Courtly Convergence (सभा-प्रवेशः दानं च)
कुक्कुरो वेणुजड्यो5थ कालाप: कठ एव च | मुनयो धर्मविद्वांसो धृतात्मानो जितेन्द्रिया:
kukkuro veṇujaḍyo ’tha kālāpaḥ kaṭha eva ca | munayo dharmavidvāṁso dhṛtātmāno jitendriyāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Da waren Weise namens Kukkura, Veṇujaḍya, Kālāpa und Kaṭha — Seher, die das Dharma kannten, standhaft im Geist und Herr über ihre Sinne.“
वैशम्पायन उवाच
