Maya’s Construction of the Assembly Hall
यस्य शड्खस्य नादेन भूतानि प्रचकम्पिरे । सभा च सा महाराज शातकुम्भमयद्रुमा,उस शंखकी आवाज सुनकर समस्त प्राणी काँप उठते थे। महाराज! उस सभामें सुवर्णमय वृक्ष शोभा पाते थे
yasya śaṅkhasya nādena bhūtāni pracakampire | sabhā ca sā mahārāja śātakumbhamaya-drumā ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Beim Klang jener Muschel erbebten die Lebewesen. Und jene königliche Halle, o König, war mit Bäumen geschmückt, die aus reinem Gold gefertigt waren.“
