करे गृहीत्वा चरणं द्वेधा चक्रे महाबल:,इसके बाद अपने एक हाथसे उसका एक पैर पकड़कर और दूसरे पैरपर अपना पैर रखकर महाबली भीमने उसे दो खण्डोंमें चीर डाला
kare gṛhītvā caraṇaṃ dvedhā cakre mahābalaḥ |
Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: Der überaus starke Bhīma packte mit der Hand das Bein seines Gegners, setzte seinen Fuß auf das andere und riss ihn in zwei Stücke auseinander. Die Szene betont die brutale Körperlichkeit des Kampfes, wenn jede Selbstbeherrschung zerbricht und Stärke nur noch zur Vernichtung dient.
